shifts to North TN and moving away from Delta belt affect by Gaja. There
is no cyclone threat and please dont believe in the rumors spread in
Delta that one more cyclone is going to hit them..

Heavy to Very Heavy rains and possible extreme rains can be expected in
Cuddalore, Pondy, Villupuram and Kancheepuram, While Chennai and
Tiruvallur might get heavy rains today and tomorrow (21st and 22nd)
Delta and South TN will not get much rains from this Depression in the next two days. Maybe some rains on 23rd. But nothing threatening. So people in Delta need not fear for further sever rains.
Cuddalore - Pondy might see gusts of 50-60 km/hr at the the time when Depression crosses the land around Pondy to Karaikkal belt tomorrow.
