JEE Main Admit Card 2017 – The admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2017 has been released and available at the official website: jeemain.nic.in. The date of examination is 2 April and the results will be declared on 27 April.

After clearing the Mains, candidates can opt for JEE Advanced 2017 for admission into IITs. The JEE main online exam will be held on 8-9 April and the results will be out on the same day for all.
As a reminder for candidates, the pattern for JEE Mains 2017 has been changed by the ministry.
No weightage for the 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE Main examination 2017 and a minimum of 75% in class is required to qualify in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE (Main) ranks.

For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
Conducted by the JEE Apex Board, the JEE Mains exam ranks candidates on merit which enables admissions for Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs), but not IITs.
The JEE admit card can be downloaded at the official website by providing application number, date of birth, and a security pin.
Applicants have to note that the admit card of JEE Main 2017 will not be sent individually to any applicant. It is important for all of the applicants to keep JEE Main 2017 admit card safe till the counselling and admission procedure is completed.
The admit card of JEE Main 2017 carries applicant’s name, exam timings, centre details, application number and more information. The admit card is an important document that all applicants will have to bring to the examination centre. Candidates who forget their JEE Main hall ticket or are unable to produce the same at the examination hall will not be allowed to sit for the JEE Main exam.

Applicants will have to bring their identity proof to the exam centre along with JEE Main 2017 admit card.
To download JEE Main 2017 admit card, candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth and security pin.

How to download JEE Main Admit Card 2017?

The following steps can be used by the applicants to download the admit card of JEE Main 2017.
  • The link to download JEE Main 2017 Admit Card is available below.
  • The applicants will be redirected to the admit card portal.
  • Enter JEE Main 2017 Application Number, date of birth and security pin in the admit card window
  • Click on “Submit” button.
  • The admit card will be reflected on your computer screen. Check and ensure that all the details on it are correct and download it. After downloading take a print out for future use.

What if one forgets JEE Main 2017 Application Number or Password?

A ‘Forgot application number’ option is also available on the website for those who are not able to recall their application number. They will have to provide extra information such as name, name of the parents, date of birth, state of eligibility and security pin to retrieve the application number.
