Extended Bank hours for conducting Govt. Business on 31st March, 2016
In view of closing of the current financial year and to facilitate the tax-payers in payment of taxes, the Reserve Bank of India has issued instructions vide notification RBI/2015-16/342 dated March 17, 2016 directing all agency banks to keep the counters of their designated branches
conducting government business open till 8.00 p.m. on March 31, 2016.
All electronic transactions would however, continue till midnight of
March 31, 2016.
